Hello everyone,

I am new to the Ikea system and currently assembling a Pax wardrobe with Lyngdal sliding doors.
Now, a question: the top track is positioned outside and the metal plate is pressing against the outer walls, which means that you have to push the track in quite firmly from the inside for it to snap into the brackets at the top. As a result, the track is no longer straight but rather curved like a banana (see pictures). Is this normal?

Thanks

Hello first of all,

Has the issue been resolved by now, or does the problem still exist?

From what I can see in the pictures, I think the cabinets are not level. Take a spirit level and place it on top, first on the left side and then on the right. If that looks good, then hold it against the inner walls. Is there any tilt there?

Please keep us updated.

No, that's actually no longer an issue.
However, the cabinets appear to be wet, which is somewhat misleading in the pictures.

Although the doors do not slide past each other once the lower tracks of the exterior door are installed, because the fittings at the bottom hit the inner door, I simply left them out. You do have to be a bit careful with it, but it’s not a big deal.
