ᐅ Ikea Pax end panel missing pre-drilled holes

Hello everyone,
we have successfully assembled the cabinet and hung the doors. Now the finishing strips still need to be installed, but the holes on the cabinet's decorative strips on the right and left are missing. Is this a mistake, or do they need to be drilled anyway?

Does anyone know?

I assume you are talking about a Pax wardrobe with sliding doors, and that you are not referring to the holes in the strips but the ones in the carcass edge. The assembly instructions indicate that you should pre-drill holes using an awl.
