Another one of those cases where you have to drill the holes yourself using a template. Normally not a big deal, except that
1. No template was included with the Utrusta, and
2. The downloadable template is the wrong one!!!
So there is no way to assemble this cabinet...

IKEA-Experte19 Jun 2014 16:09A drilling template should have been included.
Did you drill the holes using the template available online and it doesn’t fit, or do you assume that, because the number on the template is different from the one shown in the instructions, it’s not the correct one?
If it’s the latter, you should mark the measurements on the template directly on the front panel, fully insert the drawer, hold the front panel in place, and check whether the template might actually be correct and only the number in the instructions is wrong.

IKEA-Experte19 Jun 2014 22:44That’s frustrating. The distances between the holes on the template actually look different in the instructions – first a larger distance and then a smaller one. Call Ikea tomorrow and ask them to email you the correct template.

placebo7620 Jun 2014 09:25I tricked a bit this time...
First, I mounted the brackets to the rails and then measured inside the installed cabinet to see exactly where the holes ended up. There were a few mis-drilled holes, but otherwise, everything fits.
The kitchen is now almost finished. In the end, there are two things that really left me puzzled:
1. The countertop is exactly 2cm (0.8 inches) too short (corner cabinet, cabinet, cabinet -> 248), so the only options are to use unattractive wide trim strips—even though I would have preferred to just use silicone—or to cut the countertop again over such a short distance (because of 2cm / 0.8 inches...).
2. The cabinet fronts on the end panels (see other thread); tomorrow I plan to go to Ikea and check it out in person. Maybe they can even remove a front there for me to take a closer look...
