ᐅ Ikea HEMNES – from Shelving Unit to Wardrobe

Hello Ikea fans :-)

Two years ago, I bought two wide white Hemnes shelving units. I’m still really happy with them :-)

However, I need to keep the contents "invisible." Ideally, I would like to install doors—whether glass or wood. Are there any display cabinet doors or cupboard doors available for HEMNES? I couldn’t find any during my search.
For my Billy shelf, I found some doors and have already installed them—glass doors covered with frosted film.

By the way, do Billy doors fit on Hemnes? Has anyone tried that?

Or: do you have other creative ideas to hide the contents? I don’t think baskets are very suitable for books.

Hello, there were never any doors made for the HEMNES shelf, and I don’t know of any that would fit the dimensions. If you want doors, you will have to make them entirely yourself.
