Hello everyone,
I’m happily assembling a new IKEA kitchen right now. I’ve run into a problem with the oven (Framtid OV9). An extra metal strip needs to be screwed under the oven door. For that, the oven door has to be removed first. Now it’s time to put the strip in, and I’m struggling to put the door back on. The hinges have to be bent downward with the “fasteners” pulled up to slide the door onto the oven, then you open the door fully and fold these “fasteners” upward. But when I put the door back on and open it, there’s a dangerous grinding noise (somehow the door is scraping against the bottom of the oven, which can’t be right), and before the door is fully horizontal, the hinges spring back again… This happens with the new strip installed and also without it (just to be thorough, I removed the strip and tried again).
Help 😉
Best regards,
phaidra
