Hello everyone,
My cabinet is mounted, and the flap is attached, but unfortunately, it always falls back onto my head if the opening angle is less than 90° [approximately 95° (90°)].
At work, I’m familiar with kitchen cabinets with flaps that stay open even at a 45° [approximately 48° (45°)] angle.
I would like to know which of the many screws adjusts the tension of the springs... or if there’s anything else I should consider to keep the flap open, even partially.
I would be very, very grateful for an insightful answer. My head already hurts a lot.
Best regards,
Kimacat

In the middle of the hinge, there is an Allen screw. Turn it to the right. If the door or panel then falls down more easily, try turning it in the opposite direction. If it still doesn’t work, the hinges are probably broken. How old are the hinges?
Usually, you can get replacements from customer service. Ask them about it. If you have a receipt, you might be able to get them free of charge. Otherwise, there is likely a small fee.

Dear Maverick1854,
Thank you for your prompt reply. Unfortunately, I’m not sure if these are scissors hinges; in any case, I couldn’t find any Allen screws to adjust them... everything that I can adjust is meant for fastening and consists of proper threaded screws with a Phillips head.
The cabinet is brand new and was installed by the landlord. I’m stuck and don’t know how to proceed.
Best regards

and again: all good.
It's no longer an issue.
Adjustment is possible with a standard Phillips screwdriver by turning toward the " " symbol (all the way to the right (in the UZS)); then the flap no longer drops!
I love it when I basically helped myself 🙂
Thanks anyway, Maverick.
