We bought a Besta/Framsta TV and living room combination.
The assembly is scheduled to start next week after the walls have been repainted.
Unfortunately, I forgot to ask at my Ikea store how to hide the cables for the TV and LED light strips inside the panels. For the TV, we specifically chose panel inserts with cutouts (glass inserts). How can I run the cables through 2–3 panels? The panels will be fully anchored to the wall with dowels.
The Besta shelves will then be built around them.
Sadly, I couldn’t find any instructions about this in the assembly manual. I hope one of you has already assembled a wall like this (with lighting and cables for satellite boxes and LED lights).
Thank you in advance for your replies....
Best regards,
Radkappe

Run the cables behind the wall using the cutout panels, pull them behind the others (a bit fiddly), and you’re done... I don’t understand your problem...

I am also interested in this topic because I am planning a Besta/Framsta combination myself.
The problem, however, is that the metal frames of the panels are flush against the wall. How are you supposed to run cables down into a base cabinet in that case???
Best regards
