priologie3 Dec 2009 23:24Hello,
I took over an Ikea AVSIKT shutter cabinet. Unfortunately, the shutter is not installed.
After installing the shutter, it always falls down inside the cabinet instead of rolling up properly.
Can anyone see from the photos what I might have done wrong? Maybe a part is missing or installed incorrectly?
Does anyone have the assembly instructions for a cabinet like this?
There is a sticker with the production date 1999.
Thanks for any help!

Maverick18544 Dec 2009 15:51Hello,
unfortunately, I’m at the wrong computer and won’t have access to my main PC until Monday. Otherwise, I could have emailed you the assembly instructions. If you can wait until Monday, please let me know briefly, and I can send them to you then.

Now I understand a lot more than before. That said, I have to admit that installing the blinds is not exactly easy.
Does anyone know if the blinds can be bought separately as replacement parts? Mine is torn in two places. I have glued it, but I’m really doubtful that the glued areas will hold properly.

Maverick18547 Dec 2009 09:13Try contacting customer service. Maybe they can order it from Sweden. Although I don't think so, since it’s probably too old. But it’s worth a try.

Maverick18548 Dec 2009 08:46... The only possibility would be that customer service has stored it somewhere.Do you really think they would store something like that???
I don't think so.
