Hello everyone, we have received our first quote and I wanted to ask what you have paid or if this seems reasonable.
It concerns 160 sqm (square meters) of paving with base layers (parking space, 2 terraces: paving stones priced at 18.50€ net), edging stones, etc.
Additionally, splash protection around the house with a mowing edge,
spreading topsoil and delivering an additional 20 cubic meters.
The total cost is supposed to be 13,000 €.

Just about 100 sqm (1076 sq ft) of paving work alone would have cost us around €10,000.
That doesn’t even include setting curbstones or splash protection and similar.
Is 20 cubic meters (26 cubic yards) of topsoil enough for you? Lucky you.
Thanks for your feedback. We still have 80 cubic meters of soil as a pile on the property – this will be spread out.
The paving should be included; an alternative price for different paving is listed as a second option.
Okay, I just asked because the building expert always quotes $10,000 for the basics – although it is nearby.

I believe we ended up at around €22,000–23,000
- for a 24m² (260 sq ft) terrace,
- approximately 50m² (540 sq ft) of simple paving as a base for the steel garage
- ring foundation for the steel garage
- about 65m² (700 sq ft) of paving for paths and driveway
- construction of a stair landing
- connection of the rain gutters to the sewage system
- partial splash protection around the house
- leveling the garden, applying topsoil, and sowing grass seed
- for a 24m² (260 sq ft) terrace,
- approximately 50m² (540 sq ft) of simple paving as a base for the steel garage
- ring foundation for the steel garage
- about 65m² (700 sq ft) of paving for paths and driveway
- construction of a stair landing
- connection of the rain gutters to the sewage system
- partial splash protection around the house
- leveling the garden, applying topsoil, and sowing grass seed
