Hello everyone, I am currently facing the challenge of installing Ikea Metod doors with soft-close hinges and would like to do this with as little use of tools as possible. Specifically, I want to know if and how the doors with soft-close fittings can be mounted without using screwdrivers, drills, or other tools. I understand that the Metod series is quite well designed, but I haven’t found any instructions that specifically address tool-free installation. Are there any methods or tips for securely attaching the clips and hinges without using tools? If so, I would also appreciate advice on the final adjustments to ensure the soft-close function works optimally. Thanks in advance!

Could you briefly summarize if there are any accessories or tricks to at least reduce the amount of screwing required? I’m basically looking for a minimal, tool-free option, if it’s not entirely possible without tools.
