Hello everyone, I am planning to store my tools in an IKEA Pax wardrobe because I am looking for a flexible, space-saving, yet organized solution. My question is: what is the best way to use IKEA Pax for tool storage? Which modifications or interior fittings work particularly well to store a variety of tools efficiently while keeping them easily accessible? I am especially interested in tips on compartments, use of accessories, or custom modifications that can be implemented with Pax. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

This way, the load capacity and functionality can be significantly increased without having to completely rebuild the wardrobe.
I would like to add that I have developed the idea for myself to supplement the Pax with modular drawers and small transparent boxes, which I can then take out of the wardrobe. This way, I have flexible access to my tools for different projects. Handwritten labels also help reduce the stress of searching in daily use. Your question, janjo, shows me how important the right combination is.

Also consider a dedicated tool holder for larger tools, for example, a removable compartment for your drill. Thanks, Khalil, that sounds like a good idea! I think I could have a sturdy insert made or modify one myself to store the drill securely and keep it within easy reach. If anyone has practical tips for building such a compartment in the Pax, please share!
