Hello everyone, I have a problem with my IKEA Malm sideboard, which unfortunately wobbles a bit even though all the screws are tight and the floor is basically level. I would like to make the furniture completely stable without major modifications or expensive accessories. Does anyone here know effective methods or practical tips to make Malm furniture more stable? Are there special pads, assembly tips, or tricks that can permanently eliminate this common wobbling issue? Thanks in advance for your help!

I don’t want to risk the drawers no longer running smoothly due to a strong change in the angle later on.I understand that. Therefore, use only very thin shims (1-2 mm (0.04-0.08 inches)). This way, the angle hardly changes, but the floor contact improves significantly.F

You can also use a level to check how much the furniture is actually tilted. If the drawers still stick despite minor adjustments, it’s worth readjusting the rails.
Finally, a small tip: High humidity in the area can cause wood to expand or contract slightly. If the furniture is stable at first but starts to wobble over time, environmental factors might be the cause. Flexible pads that allow some movement can help in such cases.
I hope this helps you!
