I am currently planning the flexible use of my IKEA Platsa cabinets and want to be able to easily expand or modify them in the future. Since PLATSA is modular, I am especially interested in tips and tricks on how to prepare the system so that new modules can be added later without having to take the entire cabinet apart.
Are there specific assembly methods or accessories that work well to keep the cabinet adaptable? It would also be helpful to know which extensions (such as additional doors, interior fittings, or shelves) fit best without disrupting the visual continuity.

A little insider tip: check out the additional shelves and door options – they let you get really creative and redesign whenever you want. If you leave the connectors exposed, you can easily expand or modify it later with just a small adjustment.
I also like to use the internal organization of PLATSA, for example by adding drawers or baskets. This not only makes the cabinets more flexible but also much more practical!
