does anyone have a source for solid birch wood countertops with a thickness of 2.8cm (1.1 inches)? IKEA only offers the standard width, and their custom-made options are 4cm (1.6 inches) thick...?

Hello, not really, but IKEA sources the countertops from Lechner. Lechner states that "solid wood countertops are available in thicknesses of 30, 40, and 60 mm (1.2, 1.6, and 2.4 inches)." Hornbach also buys from Lechner, so I would suggest asking there.
