Hello everyone,
My brain has been overloaded for days with the following question: "Is the utility room too small?" It is 6.8m² (73 sq ft).
My plan is to place the controlled residential ventilation and brine pump along the left wall, and the dryer and washing machine along the right wall.
The electrical panel is planned to be moved to the garage.
Do you have any useful suggestions for shifting walls?
The guest room / senior bedroom must be 3.2 x 3.5m (10.5 x 11.5 feet).

It might be a good idea to add a partition wall somewhere to create additional space for installing equipment. You could also consider using ceiling space if possible (not a joke). In total, we have a 27sqm (290 sq ft) technical room, and there isn’t a single unused area. We also included an extra wall, otherwise none of this would have worked.

Thanks.
Move the staircase further to the left according to the plan. The children’s rooms upstairs are relatively large. The multipurpose room can handle that.
The small utility room will cause problems. Also, the technicians will arrange it in the way that works best for them, which won’t align with your detailed planning. Oh yes,... our heating installer ended up with a ballroom—apparently, there was no other way. Now you can waltz between the components, and our utility room is far too small. 🙂

Again: Move the staircase and small space over to the chimney side, remove the short wall near the kitchen and rearrange the kitchen furniture by rotating it. Mirror the staircase. Adjust the children's rooms upstairs accordingly. I tried to follow your line of thought.
