Does anyone have ideas for our bathroom design? We want to optimize it.

What must stay:
Shower and toilet (the depth will be increased to 1 m (3.3 ft))
Floor-to-ceiling window – the number and arrangement can be changed.

Everything else is adjustable:
Bathtub
Vanity with countertop basin
etc.

Any suggestions?

A sink near the toilet. Personally, I really can’t understand how someone can want a door on the toilet but no sink there. I hope the door will always stay open.
I would move the window and make the shower area and toilet deeper. Then add a sink as well.

A toilet behind a door without a washbasin? I don’t find that very hygienic; I wouldn’t do that.

I would definitely do it that way as well... If there is enough space, the toilet should be behind a door... and you have to touch something first anyway... including the faucet.

The toilet is really placed as far away from the sink as possible. Hygiene aside, this is simply impractical.
How are the towels meant to be kept within easy reach of the shower?
Floor-to-ceiling windows in the bathroom obviously limit available space and are always covered or fitted with privacy screens (such as pleated blinds). You could really skip them, as they don’t add any value. Or is it mainly for the exterior appearance?

Freestanding basins are something people usually want only once in their life, and then never again. But that’s an experience you have to make yourself (or leave cleaning to someone else).

Overall, I find the bathroom rather poorly designed so far. A huge room with a bathtub placed somewhat prominently. But the fixtures you often need (usually the shower more often than the bathtub, and the toilet) are somehow placed suboptimally.
The corner behind the two doors is also wasted space.

You can easily turn on a faucet with your wrist or elbow, but a locked door is not so easy to open. For me, it would also be impractical when cleaning the toilet if you had to walk through the entire bathroom to reach the faucet.
