Does anyone have ideas for our bathroom design? We want to optimize it.
What must stay:
Shower and toilet (the depth will be increased to 1 m (3.3 ft))
Floor-to-ceiling window – the number and arrangement can be changed.
Everything else is adjustable:
Bathtub
Vanity with countertop basin
etc.
Any suggestions?

It feels like being at a campsite with just a portable toilet. Totally unnecessary. You don’t really think you’ll go to the bathroom there while your child is brushing their teeth or vice versa.
Sort of like, if I just close my eyes tightly, nobody will see me :-p
Save yourself the wall.

Basically, I imagine the toilet/shower setup as shown in the photo, but we will skip the sauna and install a steam shower/bath instead.
For more privacy, the frosting on the toilet side should be more opaque, not like in the photo!
I’m considering a small sink in the toilet – good point! – I hadn’t thought about the door handle.
Otherwise, I’m now using a countertop basin and I’m quite happy with it.
The window in the toilet area is a must because of the outside view.
Floor-to-ceiling windows – I personally really like these.
The separate toilet will definitely be included... I’m specifically asking about the layout of the other built-in fixtures (sink, bathtub, cabinets).
A towel storage cabinet will be installed between the toilet and shower so they are easy to reach.

- We don’t want odors spreading throughout the entire bathroom.
- Water from the toilet doesn’t spread all over the bathroom – referring to evaporation, splashing when flushing, etc.
- It provides privacy.

But aside from that: personally, I would swap the sink and bathtub. That way, you could enjoy the possibly nice view from the bathtub. I would also make the bathroom smaller, as I think there is some wasted space.

Why don’t you separate the toilet from the bathroom entirely? Make it a completely independent room, accessible from the hallway through its own door? This would also have the advantage of providing privacy in the bathroom during simultaneous use.
Regarding toilet odors: Have you planned a ventilation system? There are flush tanks from Geberit with odor extraction that can be connected to the ventilation system’s exhaust. We installed this in our home and are absolutely thrilled with it. If someone uses the toilet, you can enter right afterward with no smell at all.
About evaporation of toilet water: Seriously? Even if a milliliter (0.03 fluid ounces) evaporates, what’s the big deal? I honestly don’t get it.... ^^
