ᐅ Kitchen Hood Airflow

Hello,

I bought a used Luftig range hood.

I attached the included eyelets/mounting brackets to the wall with screws. When I hang the hood on them, it holds firmly and securely, but it tilts slightly forward, which doesn’t look very good.

Did I forget something, or does anyone have an installation manual for this range hood?

I am not familiar with the model, but range hoods are usually also attached sideways to the cabinets (wall cabinets, etc.) next to the hood.

Mounting it only at the back would mean that the entire weight rests there, so it makes sense that it would bend downward over time.

So, regardless of your device, which I do not know: check for screw holes on the sides to attach it to cabinets, for example, a tall cabinet, wall cabinet, or even the wall itself. Most range hoods are typically positioned between cabinets rather than mounted directly on the wall.
