Hello
We are planning to get a garden shed and have decided on Keter for this purpose.
Either the Keter Oakland or Artisan model.
How durable are these garden sheds? Does anyone have experience with Keter garden sheds?

I think the metal house looks good visually.
Completely maintenance-free and high quality.
Are there any other alternatives to Biohort for metal sheds that offer the same or better quality around €2000 (about $2200) for roughly 2.5 x 3 m (8 x 10 ft)?

Another point is that we want to place it directly in the corner of the property.
So, right up against the fence, but then it’s harder to clean the windows from the outside if the house is close to the property line. You don’t really need to clean the windows then, it’s a garden shed! We usually just sweep away cobwebs and dirt splashes near the bottom sometimes.
The panes are high up and never really get very dirty, plus they’re not very tall.
And if the neighbor can’t see inside anyway… 😉
Hello everyone,
Although I am reopening an old thread, I have a question specifically for owners of Keter garden sheds. We are considering buying the large Keter Artisan (11x7 meters (36x23 feet)) and placing it in the corner of our garden. Since the back faces the neighbors, I wanted to ask how Keter handles rainwater management. Is there no built-in gutter system, as I haven’t found any information about it, or can one simply attach a gutter, as some reviews suggest, or is it integrated?
I don’t want to start another debate about whether to choose a wooden, aluminum, or WPC garden shed. I am just looking for a practical experience report from owners or those familiar with the sheds.
Thanks in advance and have a nice Sunday!
Best regards

Hello,
We have exactly this model and are satisfied with it. It has a kind of drain integrated at the back, but the water is not directed to the side; instead, it drips through the slots. I hope this can be seen in the photos. It is currently freezing here, so you can see small icicles forming at these very slots.
Because of this, the back wall probably won’t look great in a few years. If our garden shed were freestanding, we would have added a gutter.
If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

Wow, thanks for the response and the pictures!
I’m probably going to create a slab foundation and build the house on top of it.
I have three questions:
Did you anchor the slab simply into the foundation slabs using dowels?
I want to place 1 to 2 shelves inside and especially park 4 bicycles there. Is there plenty of space, or is it almost too large?
Did you install shelves or screw something to the wall?
Thanks in advance and best regards!

We did not anchor it because our house has significant weight. We have two heavy-duty shelves positioned on the narrow sides next to a centrally placed door. If your house will also be built on slabs, I would be relaxed about it. It’s a different story with gravel.
The delivery includes D clips, and we additionally installed wooden battens as supports for tools. Of course, no bikes fit in there now, and very long items would probably only fit along the longer side. But you can measure that beforehand.
