Good day,
I would like to have a small shed in my garden to store my furniture and equipment. Is it sufficient if it is made of wood, or should it at least be partially built with masonry?
Thank you

Wood is completely sufficient. We have now also built a garden shed for the summer and only added extra insulation to the roof.
Best regards

As C1t already mentioned, it is perfectly fine to build garden sheds from wood. Even roof insulation is not necessarily required.

So, in our garden, we first created a concrete foundation for the garden shed to be sure... to prevent any mold, and then built the shed out of wood. I would recommend this approach.

So, we have now decided on a complete wooden garden shed. I also built the foundation out of concrete to ensure a solid base. We ordered the shed itself online from Gartenhaus GmbH, as building it ourselves was too complicated for us.

I can only agree with the previous speakers that the wood definitely needs to be protected from moisture.

Wood is definitely sufficient; here, it's not about the material but rather the construction method... strange question...
