I don’t understand why everyone is making such a big deal out of this...
In the end, it’s not ideal the way it is, but there will be a cabinet in front of it anyway. As it’s installed now, it serves its purpose, whether it was intended that way or not.
And whether it was forgotten or resulted from some changes doesn’t really matter.
It is how it is, and that’s that.
It’s not exactly nice, but it probably works.
So, all good... True, it’s just water coming out.
What about the shower or bathtub? I mean, the same plumber installed the water there as well.
It was the same in our kitchen. It’s going to be hidden anyway by the sink cabinet. The background reason was simply that there is only a 10.5 cm (4 inch) limestone wall there, so hardly anything else would have remained standing...

In the bathroom, the pipes were also run along the calcium silicate wall. That’s not a problem since a drywall partition was built in front of it afterwards.

. To be honest, I see less of an issue there than with @Zaba12’s electrical wiring, which apparently was installed without conduit... You mean the electrical cables? I don’t see a problem with that. Conduits for them are common only in Switzerland. Only media cables must be installed in conduits, and electrical cables, as far as I remember, only if laid in concrete floors.
