ᐅ Are the costs for a prefabricated garage within a reasonable range?

Hello everyone,
we are planning to build a semi-detached house in 6-9 months and are currently in the initial planning discussions. The construction company offered to include the installation of a prefabricated garage directly in the building contract.
Key details:
3 x 9 m (3 x 6 m garage plus 3 x 3 m storage room)
Colored, electric sectional door
Foundation included
Costs about 14,000 euros
My question is whether this is a reasonable price or if it might be worth contracting the garage separately to save some money. Also, did you have any issues having the garage installed by an external company? Did you arrange this during the main construction phase or only at the very end?
Thanks in advance.

Not in our case, because they stuck out half a meter (20 inches) above the ground. Usually, when building a house, the ground level around the entire house isn’t immediately at the final height.
Best regards,
Sabine When you start working on the outdoor areas, preparing the terrain is the first step.
Many people do the gravel work entirely during the earthworks phase when laying the building foundation, as it’s cheaper than doing it through landscaping.
But of course, there can always be individual reasons for a different approach.

But of course, there can always be individual reasons. Yes, it always depends. We only had the gravel around the house done during the pool work since they were already digging and moving soil and gravel at that time. We didn’t have the landscaping company do it either, but a construction company experienced in concrete pool work.
Best regards,
Sabine

My question is whether this is a reasonable price, or if significant savings could still be made by contracting each part separately. The price is good enough that—assuming the expected quality is met—I wouldn’t attempt separate contracting anymore.

And did everything go smoothly when having the garage installed by an external company? Did you arrange this during the construction phase or at the very end? Our previous townhouse was completed in 2001. In 2002, we had a prefabricated garage measuring 6x6m (20x20 feet) installed in two parts by Juwel. The seller also arranged for the strip foundations to be done. Everything went smoothly. When we sold the house this year, the garage was still in excellent condition.
Thank you for the suggestions.
I will definitely ask the construction company when they plan to build the garage. I will definitely need access to the garden with smaller machines until the end of the house construction. Otherwise, landscaping will be very difficult. Since the price seems reasonable, I hope to find a solution.
The second option would be to check with the future neighbor whether I may use their property as an access route. As things stand, their construction is scheduled to begin several months after ours.
