Hello everyone,
We bought a house in the Reutlingen district last year, and now it’s time to work on the garden and outdoor areas. They are currently in a completely unfinished state.
We had a landscape architect create a plan for us. Now we would like to know roughly how much this might cost (excluding the pool!). I understand it’s difficult to provide an exact figure, but a ballpark estimate like $50,000, $75,000, or $150,000 would be enough as a starting point.
Thank you very much!

What are the dimensions of the plot?
That is generally hard to estimate. Too many unknowns.
A lot of money is already spent on the walls. Depending on the height, material, and landscaper, costs can be €400/m (about $430/yard) or even €800/m (about $860/yard). How many meters (yards) do you have? And are all of them really necessary?

I think the design looks nice, but on such a small area, it feels like too much to me.
There is a road on the right side, as indicated by the traffic sign. Is it allowed in your area to build the carport with a storage shed up to the street? Also, has the additional driveway into the carport been approved?

Now we would like to know approximately how much this would cost (excluding the pool!)You usually set the budget beforehand – at least roughly. 🙄I also like the plan. If the pool is removed, I would let nature take its course there and create a wildflower meadow or something similar. It would be beautiful, low-maintenance, and a nice complement to the otherwise more architectural design.
Also, ask the landscape gardener what she thinks about lawn and shrub pruning. Should all of this really go into the organic waste bin, or would it be better to designate a specific area for it?

Has the additional driveway into the carport been approved as well? Yes, there is a pedestrian path on the right, and all driveway access is clarified and approved. I’m not emotionally attached to the carport.
What would you remove to simplify the design?
