Hi,

we decided on a coated glass shower enclosure. Already after 8 weeks, there are lime scale stains on it that are very difficult to remove. According to the instructions, you should use a glass cleaner, but that doesn’t work at all. How can I remove these lime scale stains, and what kind of cleaning cloth should I use? I’ve heard microfiber isn’t good...

Thanks in advance!

Did you let the drops dry on the glass, or did you always wipe them away right after showering?

There are several products available to deal with limescale, but I’m not familiar with that material...

Try using Secusept if you can get hold of it.
It is a hand sanitizer that works for almost everything.
I also use it, for example, on the TFT monitor and flat-screen TV.

Yep, I would always wipe it off (or dry rub with a cloth), because lime residue also remains on the coating.

The coating doesn’t last very long. However, you don’t need any special cleaners to keep the shower clean. Just use a common vinegar-based cleaner and always squeegee after showering.

I have a question regarding this: Is it not worth applying the same coating to the partition? Would a standard shower partition be sufficient?
