ᐅ Assembly Tips: Should Ikea Pax Dividers Be Installed Only at the Bottom?

joptimusHi,
we bought a Pax wardrobe with three 1m (3.3 ft) wide frames. I have a 1m (3.3 ft) clothes rail, but my girlfriend doesn’t need that many hanging options, so I bought a divider hoping to install a 50cm (20 inch) rail there. However, it seems that the (very heavy) divider can only be installed at the bottom of the Pax frame, and bending down that low to reach the blouses is inconvenient. Unfortunately, it can’t be fixed higher up without drilling new holes.
Does anyone have a clever idea?
P.S. 50cm (20 inch) wide frames were explicitly not an option, just in case anyone is wondering 😉
