Hello everyone, I have the following problem: I bought the Ikea Besta shelving unit and unfortunately lost the assembly instructions during installation. Are there any practical and easy-to-follow assembly guides or alternative instructions in this forum that are specifically suitable for the Besta system? I am looking for detailed descriptions, tips on common pitfalls, and advice on the correct connections, as I want to avoid assembling the unit incorrectly and ending up with an unstable shelf. I look forward to your experiences and recommendations!

I would like to add that, besides the usual assembly instructions, combining written guides with video tutorials often leads to the best results. Especially when a manual is missing, visual understanding of the assembly steps can be crucial. You should also proceed step by step and check the stability at each construction phase before moving on. A frequently overlooked tip is to sort screws and components in advance by type and quantity to maintain a clear overview during assembly. Additionally, it can be helpful to study build guides for similar shelving systems, as the basic principles of furniture construction generally remain the same.

If you want to assemble the shelf quickly without instructions, my tip:
- Lay out all parts on a flat surface
- Sort the screws and wall plugs by type
- Assemble the side frames first
- Then insert the back panel
- Always check that everything is squared

This is usually the easiest way.
