Good morning everyone,
I am currently considering getting a new Pax wardrobe from Ikea and am focusing especially on the different door options. A key question for me is: Are there Ikea Pax models with soft-close doors?
I have done quite a bit of research so far, but the information is somewhat contradictory. Some say that Ikea only offers soft-close on certain door types, while others claim that additional fittings are needed to enable this feature.
I am mainly interested in models with hinged or folding doors, less so in sliding doors. Could someone provide reliable information or share experiences regarding Pax and soft-close doors?
Thank you in advance!

Are there Ikea Pax models with soft-close doors?Additional information:
- The soft-close feature in Ikea Pax is primarily related to the hinges, not the doors themselves.
- For sliding doors, a soft-close function is only available on a few models, usually as an attachment or a special track mechanism.
- For folding doors, a soft-close feature is practically nonexistent, so third-party products or alternative solutions may be necessary.
Conclusion: If you want a complete set with soft-close, you often have to make compromises with Ikea or consider retrofitting options.
