By this, I mean whether there are special or extended drawer models or attachments that offer more storage space or better organization beyond the standard depths and heights, for example, drawers with higher sidewalls, modular inserts, or additional dividers. Variants that may hold more weight or provide special storage for rarely used items would also be of interest.
Has anyone had experience with such specialized drawer solutions within the PAX range or possibly third-party alternatives that fit well?

Regarding your question, I would like to add that the depth of the PAX drawers is fixed as previously discussed. However, the storage capacity can be effectively optimized using modular dividers and organization systems offered by Ikea itself.
Another option is special metal baskets that allow for more volume than flat drawers by combining the features of a drawer and a basket.
Third-party suppliers sometimes offer solutions with aluminum or steel runners that can support heavier loads and potentially accommodate larger drawer fronts without changing the depth.
In short: there are no fundamentally different drawer sizes, but many clever extensions and alternatives within the PAX system.
