Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery
Current outdoor temperature 6°C (43°F)
Heating energy consumption including hot water 35 kWh
Electricity consumption 9 kWh

That’s only the electricity for the heat pump, excluding household electricity. So, do you have a separate meter?

Is that a meter just for the heat pump for your monitoring purposes, to measure the electricity consumption separately from the household power since everything runs through one meter?

Yes, I had it installed later on. The entire heating system runs through it.

That is an interesting idea. What was the additional cost for installing the meter? I have also wondered what the heat pump consumes if considered separately.

It might be helpful to mention when posting whether there is one or two meters installed, and whether photovoltaic support is included or not.

Otherwise, it’s more like comparing apples and oranges...

Is the specification of the heat pump's power consumption/energy use really that inaccurate?
