Hello!
I'll start.
Heated area 200m2 (2,153 sq ft)
KfW 55 standard
Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery
Current outdoor temperature 6°C (43°F)
Heating energy consumption including hot water 35 kWh
Electricity consumption 9 kWh
COP 3.88

I will do that, but only after the manufacturer has resolved the heating system issues so that the errors no longer occur. If necessary, the entire system will be replaced. Therefore, I am not making any further optimizations at this point.

I believe that amidst all the calculations, there is significant (savings) potential in very individual heating habits, which often differ completely but are generally considered "normal" and "necessary" by all sides.

or as a luxury people are willing to pay for. For example, I am happy to pay the extra cost for a 23.5°C (74°F) warm bath, even knowing that it could probably be optimized.

....that is exactly what matters to me primarily: creating a personal sense of well-being and not letting yourself be overly guided or distracted by comparing numbers.

What does "runs unsauber ohne Err" mean?

It’s quite simple: everyone has a baseline for which they are willing to pay more or consume more, even if it’s not strictly necessary.

I don’t need an iPhone 12, but I want one, although I could just as well get by with an Android phone like 75% of the population.

It’s the same with the necessary temperature in our house. In this case, an Android phone is enough for us 🙂

It only becomes critical when you want something, can’t afford it, but still consume it. It’s only a luxury if you can’t afford it. That is generally not the case here 🙂

I am also happy to pay more for a wide temperature range.
What I don’t like, however, is that this causes my heat pump to start cycling frequently, which damages it.
I still don’t understand why, instead of using two-position valve actuators, they don’t simply use continuous 0-10V actuators that never completely shut off the flow?!?
Can someone explain this to me?
