ᐅ Which manufacturer offers compatible replacement parts for IKEA Metod cabinets?

Hello everyone, some time ago I planned and installed a kitchen using the IKEA Metod system. Now I am looking for compatible spare parts from other manufacturers – specifically hinges, plinths (kickboards), and some shelves. My question is: Are there any reliable manufacturers outside of IKEA that offer compatible spare parts for the Metod system with comparable quality and fit? For me, it is especially important not to compromise on functionality, but I would like to potentially save costs or have parts available more quickly. Does anyone have experience or recommendations on which manufacturers I can trust?

Manufacturers like Hettich or Blum offer high-quality hinges and fittings that can be technically compatible, but you should check exact dimensions and screw spacing.

Thanks for the tip! Could you or someone else point me to any documentation or charts where I can compare the screw spacing and measurements of Metod and these manufacturers? I want to verify this carefully before ordering replacement parts to avoid mistakes.

There are actually some comparison charts from professional kitchen manufacturers available online that you can find. Important dimensions are: hinge hole spacing, drill hole diameter, and drawer slide length. Definitely check these comparisons before purchasing.

I have often seen comparison tables like that in forums and on homeowner portals. Sometimes manufacturers provide them directly, but you have to look for them. If you need more specific measurements, I can try to gather some information!

Great, thanks for the help so far! To summarize, I see that especially Blum and Hettich as manufacturers can supply compatible replacement hinges and fittings, but caution is needed with regard to the dimensions for shelves and base panels. I would appreciate it if anyone has additional tips or can provide specific sources, maybe even experiences with fit accuracy beyond the hinges. I'm also looking to find alternatives to IKEA in case replacement parts are ever unavailable or very expensive there. Thanks again!
