Exactly, I would like to add that Ikea has actually been offering modular solutions within the Pax system for some time now, which make the closet rods more flexible.

These include various brackets that allow better weight distribution, as well as telescopic rods, some models of which have higher load capacities. For additional levels, extra closet rod brackets can also be used, which can simply be hooked into the wall profiles.

If you need more space for short clothing, there are also special constructions that create two levels of closet rods stacked one above the other.

Basically, it is worth checking the current Pax accessories directly at Ikea, as the range is updated from time to time. Third-party suppliers usually offer supplementary shelving systems or hooks, but no official Pax closet rod attachments.

That is basically a good question, but I think the idea that Ikea really offers special accessories for the hanging rods is rather limiting. Ikea primarily sells standard solutions that are meant to be compatible and simple.

That may be true, but the fact is: anyone with truly specific requirements will usually have to rely on third-party products or DIY solutions. The Pax systems are not designed to provide very specialized or heavy-duty options directly from Ikea.
