Hello,
My wife, my mother-in-law, and I are building a two-family house. Yesterday, my mother-in-law’s kitchen was ordered, and I then noticed that the wall cabinets will be mounted on a drywall (plasterboard) wall. How is this usually done?

The question also depends on how your home builder structures the walls.
We also have drywall, but only as the outer layer, with wooden walls behind it.
We can easily attach anything up to about 80 kg (175 lbs) to the wall without anchors, just using wood screws. It’s the same for us. First wood, then drywall. I even double-checked this with the architect.
