Turn off the fuse and see what happens next.

I've already done that earlier. That's why the screenshot only shows a few minutes.

@Bookstar the temperature at the top is still 20.2°C (68.4°F), at the bottom 22.8°C (73°F). It should have started running normally earlier.

Could it be that the heating curve is set too low for defrosting in these subzero temperatures? I mean, we are very satisfied with 25/21/0 inside. But maybe it is simply too cold for defrosting the outdoor unit at -10°C (14°F) and below.

Is the heating element turned off?

Sure.

The hot water has just started flowing, at least. I set the heating curve to 26/21/0. I think that after the defrosting, the heating operation will start immediately. Let’s see.

I’m currently noticing that the -10 degrees Celsius (14°F) is really challenging the heat pump; I’ve never seen it produce hot water this slowly before.

The heating system has been started. This means that the total household energy consumption for today is now determined. Yesterday it was 24.4 kWh, and today it will be 29 kWh.

Historie-App: Gesamtverbrauch 22,5 kWh aus PV, Netz und Batterie mit Graphen.

At least it’s heating again. What’s your average temperature (AT) like?

By 9:42 PM we’re already at -17.6°C (0°F), this will be interesting.
