ᐅ Exterior plaster: silicone resin render or fine plaster with paint finish

Hello everyone,
our house has a recessed terrace with an insulated reinforced concrete ceiling above it (bedroom above the terrace). We are now deciding between a coarse-grain silicone resin render, like the rest of the exterior façade, or a fine render with two coats of silicone resin paint for the ceiling in the terrace area. What would you recommend? The plasterer said both options are of equal quality. Many people prefer the fine render.

Then just choose whichever you like ;-)

As a contrast to the wall, I would also use a finer plaster on the ceiling. However, like many things, it is a matter of personal taste.
