Hello forum,

I want to renovate my bathroom (have it done), but it’s incredibly difficult. So far, the companies haven’t presented any good proposals. The window is also problematic, but I am allowed to replace it with a double casement window (approved). One side could be fixed, which would no longer be a major issue.

Maybe someone here in the forum has a brilliant idea? The bathroom needs to include a shower, toilet, and washbasin. The drain for the toilet is at the back right next to the window.

Best regards
Zwusel

I don’t see how that fits with the room size. Unless you’re thinking of the shower cabins used in motorhomes. A shower in the entrance area on the floor tiles with a central drain, the toilet at the back with a cabinet for items that need to stay dry.
What rooms are next to the storage room? Is it possible to take some space from there?
Basically, I would also change the door to open outward.

At first glance, I would also agree with ypg, so definitely have the door open outwards. Otherwise, the shower would be in front of the window—but I suppose the toilet has to go there? Is it possible to relocate the plumbing connection? At the top of the plan, then, the toilet on the left, the washbasin on the right, and the shower in front of the window—this way you could still move around in the room, and it wouldn’t feel like a motorhome bathroom.

What does that mean? Is it a rental apartment?

How do you protect the window frame from water? Do you know? Is there a solution for that?

You could use that 25cm (10 inches) width to build a small platform where the drain can be placed underneath.

No, I don’t know – but a plastic window should be able to withstand that, right? I once had that in a rental apartment, and it was even a wooden window and nothing happened to it 🙂
