ᐅ What size should interior doors be? 90 cm or 100 cm width / 211 cm height?

Hello, our house planning is steadily progressing, and now I am deciding on the dimensions of the interior doors.

I am torn between 90 or 100 cm (35 or 39 inches) width / 211 cm (83 inches) height for the interior doors.

We have a ceiling height of 265 cm (104 inches).

The extra cost for the wider doors is minimal. I actually see only advantages with the wider doors, except that sometimes they can look like hospital doors :-(
The country-style design changes that only slightly.

Has anyone chosen this and regretted it?

Thanks

211 is perfect.
Each size variation also costs a lot more.

The extra cost is manageable; right now, it’s just about the appearance …. ??!

In your opinion, would doors with a height of 223cm (88 inches) also look just as good or even better from today’s perspective?

Since doors at a standard height of 2.50m (8 ft 2 in) with a door height of 2.01m (6 ft 7 in) look acceptable/good/normal, I wouldn’t worry at all about doors measuring 2.63m (8 ft 8 in) in height with a clearance of 2.11m (6 ft 11 in).

That’s true, but would doors with a height of 2.23m (7 ft 4 in) possibly look as good or even better with a clear ceiling height of 2.63m (8 ft 8 in)?

No. 90-211 is usually perfect.

Ok.

And what do others think about 223.5cm (88 inches) high doors with 263cm (104 inches) high ceilings? How does that look, or would you also advise against it?

Exaggeration usually looks less natural.
