thank you for your advice. It was very helpful to me. I would have been completely lost if a salesperson had asked me about the desired step. It’s always better to have some experience from others. If the non-slip tiles work as well as you say, I will definitely use them in our bathroom. Thanks again and best regards!

Maier GmbH30 Jul 2008 01:29hi,
I have heard that these non-slip tiles are very difficult to clean because dirt tends to stick to them easily, and even the cloth used for cleaning wears out quickly on these rough tiles. Do you think it makes sense to cover the entire bathroom with these tiles?

in the meantime, I went out and checked out these slip-resistant tiles. They’re not that rough actually, otherwise it would be uncomfortable to walk on them barefoot. Cleaning should be quite manageable. I will probably go with these tiles. Thanks for your tips and advice!

Non-slip surfaces are definitely a good idea when there is a high risk of slipping. BUT: you might have to listen to complaints from your wife every day about how she can’t get the tiles clean. The fact is that fine dirt particles get trapped in the grooves, which even the best mop can’t remove. Lately, my wife has been crawling around on her knees with a so-called "magic eraser."
