who has the Geberit Sigma 70 actuator plate – possibly in black?
I would like to know if it shows fingerprints very easily and if it is easy to operate.
Thanks in advance.

I have a gray, matte finish rather than black. Unfortunately, the plastic surfaces are quite prone to showing fingerprints, depending on the lighting. However, I don’t have a direct comparison of how much worse other colors or finishes might be; maybe they wouldn’t be as noticeable on glossy white, but that wouldn’t match our tiles.

LilaLilly16 Aug 2016 18:18Hello everyone,
I have a question about the Sigma70 as well. A plumber friend installed this neat device for us, but we are far from satisfied. Either he didn’t install it properly, or this is normal behavior… which I find hard to believe.
1. The unit is very loose.
2. Sometimes it flushes, sometimes it doesn’t – completely random.
3. When it does flush, you have to press exactly the right spot on the flush plate with enough force for it to activate.
My predecessor mentioned something about a gentle touch...? Either my flush plate needs to be pressed really hard, or something is wrong here.
Kind regards.

Sebastian7916 Aug 2016 18:30We have installed it in the guest bathroom by now – but I wouldn’t pay the extra cost for the 50mm (2 inches) version anymore.
Yes, it looks sophisticated, but you still just press the thing in quite unsophisticatedly – however, it works perfectly and doesn’t look dirty right away.
But I had hoped for a gentle version – it’s supposed to work hydropneumatically somehow, but I don’t really notice that...

LilaLilly17 Aug 2016 11:58Hmm, but does it work normally for you, like any other flush...? And is the part also quite loose for you..? Unfortunately, I don’t know how to best describe it, but the entire construction has a lot of play.
Best regards
