SlippySken27 Jul 2020 10:47I can't quite see a clear conclusion yet.
We are also torn between the Geberit Icon and the Villeroy & Boch Subway 2.0.
However, we are uncertain because the Icon apparently isn’t as easy to mount and tends to tip forward, while the Subway’s flushing performance might not be as good.

the icon is probably not well secured and tilts forwardThat’s not true. It’s solidly fixed. However, it is a bit more "complex" to install since there are no external fasteners. But for this, and I think it’s great, the exterior is completely smooth and looks excellent. Is it true that rimless toilets sometimes have the problem that they don’t flush everything away properly? A friend told me she advises against buying one of those currently very trendy rimless toilets...
I mean, a toilet rim is also easy to wipe clean with two or three wet wipes, which I then throw away afterwards, right?

We more or less place it in the middle, where everything gets flushed away. The toilet brush is just as useful with a rim as without one.
However, without a rim it’s easier to keep clean and looks tidier.
