Matthias 4025 May 2019 13:55Hello,
Today, the floor installer was at our place and brought samples from Joka. He had samples from the Deluxe series. The price per square meter is between 95 and 70 Euro (approximately 9.5 and 7.0 USD). Recently, I also looked at an Admonter floor, which was great, but it seemed less durable to me.
What type of parquet flooring do you have or recommend? Price up to 120 Euro per square meter (approximately 12 USD).
Regards,
Matthias

nordanney25 May 2019 15:12In my recent properties, I installed hardwood flooring ranging from "luxury" brands—such as oiled Wenge by Haro—to no-name two-layer country-style planks (oak, white oiled).
Prices per square meter ranged from €140 to €22.95 per sqm (approximately $148 to $24 per sq yd). During installation, there was a noticeable difference: branded hardwood was more precisely manufactured. Once installed, however, I can’t see any difference (all floors were fully glued down).
Personally, I would choose solely based on appearance and look for the lowest possible price. The manufacturer doesn’t matter at all to me.

hampshire25 May 2019 20:54I can’t tell you what is better or worse. After a supplier dropped out, we chose Weitzer. It looks good, feels good, and the floor installer is happy to lay it. It costs just under €90 net per square meter (approximately $8.30 per square foot).
