Hello everyone,

We have oiled our new parquet floor with Woca Maintenance Oil.
However, after oiling, it appeared blotchy.
Accordingly, we cleaned it with Biofa Napona deep cleaner, now for the second time.
On the surface, there is no oil visible or noticeable (e.g., sticky). Nevertheless, the parquet remains blotchy.
A photo is attached.
So my question to you is whether anyone has had similar experiences and what can be done about it?
I have already been advised to oil it again, but I am skeptical.

Regards
Bright wooden plank floor with visible grain and light reflections from window light.

Definitely take at least one more photo with a wider angle and not facing the window.
I'm sure that sooner or later @KlaRa will be able to help here.

Was the floor intended to be oiled immediately?

According to the manufacturer, it should be oiled after installation and before the first use.
More photos will be posted tomorrow in daylight.

What did you use to apply the oil? Our manufacturer even lent us a tool called Wiesel for this purpose, and I thought to myself: what’s so different about it? But when a friend told me her parquet looked as patchy as yours without using the Wiesel, I was glad and even bought one for the future.

My thought was, after treating it twice with Biofa Napona: apply oil again and work it in using the Woca hand scrubber with white pads. Then wipe it off with the Woca cotton cloth. However, I am not an expert, so my question is whether this makes sense?
