ᐅ What type of foundation is suitable for a prefabricated garage?

Golfi90Hello everyone!
I am planning a prefabricated garage from the company Garagenrampe for our house.
Apparently, there are two options for the foundation of this garage.
One option is a concrete slab foundation, and the other is strip foundations.
Which option would you choose?
Is it better to have a full slab poured and then lay tiles on top?
Or would you go for strip foundations and then pave around the garage?

We had a ring foundation installed for our 50m² (538 sq ft) double garage and then paved over it.
The local garage dealer nearby (just search for Garagen Klaus) has tiles in his garage and always has to push puddles out with a squeegee. It also creates a slipping hazard. In my garage, moisture from the car in winter can drain downwards. On the other hand, moisture can seep in through the paving edges during heavy rain, so you should avoid placing wooden shelves directly on the pavement. When sweeping, tiles do have their advantage again.
A small tip on the side: since your garage dealer has all those rims and sleds hanging on the wall, ask for prices for the different hanging solutions and what can be hung up. You can’t just hang things directly on the sheet metal because it’s too thin. So, you’ll need special hanging options. They make their money with all those special brackets.

What is the garage made of, and is it intended only for an everyday car with some extra storage?
My garage for such purposes is made of steel and sits on interlocking paving stones. It is rented—if it were owned, I would be a bit more design-oriented—but it fully serves its purpose as is.

Or would you choose strip footings and then pave the garage? I’m not familiar with this concept – doesn’t the garage have a floor?
