Interesting thread! I installed LED strips connected to motion sensors – very practical, especially in the hallway. For the handles, I used leather straps, which make everything feel softer and more homely. Additionally, I chose woven seagrass baskets for storage; they are sturdy and have a natural look. So, my recommendation is to balance functionality with a mix of materials!

I’d also add that you can install coat hooks on the outside of the storage unit – even without drilling if you use the right adhesive solutions. This greatly increases functionality. For aesthetics, a few nice plants on top of the cabinet or shelf really add the finishing touch, keeping the space cozy and lively.
