Shoe-specific inserts are available not only from Ikea but also from third-party suppliers, who sometimes use slightly more durable materials. It is important that the clothes rails are height-adjustable, as this makes better use of the space.

Plastic compartment organizers are also often helpful if you want to keep smaller items neatly sorted.
