underHello everyone,
I would like to design my living room.
I’m planning to place a wall unit along one side of a wall. The wood quality should be good. I don’t want a wall unit made from very thin boards that just don’t look nice.
Could you recommend something, preferably online stores, since I will order the wall unit online?
If you need more information, just ask. I’m also very open to ideas (I’m not creative at all but get ideas when pointed in the right direction ;-) )
Best regards and thanks in advance for your suggestions.

And what should the wall unit look like?
What type of wood?
Solid wood or engineered wood?
With drawers or without?
With doors, full glass doors?
With posts?
With lighting?
Should I keep asking?
As you can see, you should put some effort into this.
What do you think about just wandering through different furniture stores to get some inspiration?
You really need to see something like this in person.

The living room walls I have seen in person were always made of particleboard (I think it’s the cheapest type of wood available). Also, the individual panels are quite thin. It just doesn’t look good.
If it has some lighting, that’s okay but not essential. Please no studs—should have a “modern” style.
Everything else is really about appearance (with or without glass; with or without drawers).
Budget: around 1,000.00 € achievable (?)
- No corner living walls, just a straight length—the wall is about 5.00 m (16 feet) wide, although it doesn’t need to be fully filled.
At some point, I stopped making too many demands, as a not-so-creative mind. Otherwise, the opposite can’t be realized 😀

So you don’t want a stone or wallpapered wall anymore?
Now suddenly wood?
Or is the second wall going to be different from the first? I’m curious how the third one will turn out 😉
Oh, wood pattern wallpapers exist too? Then I really have to reconsider. :p
No, it’s all good, I’m pretty sure I’ll go with wallpaper. I’m still waiting for the sample, it’s good to have a backup option. But it will be the stone-effect wallpaper.
Thanks for your patience 🙂
