ᐅ The tiles in the shower have been installed unevenly.

Hello,

I chose elongated tiles for the shower that create vertical grout lines. Now the tiler has installed the tiles, but unfortunately they are not straight. When entering the shower, you can immediately see that the tiles are slanted. Is this a valid reason to file a complaint, or am I being too picky?
I am building through a developer who is managing multiple projects at the same time.
The final inspection is scheduled for November. I would like to know if there is a chance the tiles will be redone.

The vertical deviation of the grout lines from the plumb line ranges between 0.7° and 1.2°. I am attaching a photo. Unfortunately, the tiles are very "colorless," so the photo is not very impressive.

I don’t care whether I like the tiles or not, but if you mention 0.7 degrees, you should realize that this is absolutely acceptable in any craft.

I also wrote "up to 1.2°C (2.2°F)." In any case, that is noticeable. What’s the point of having geometric tiles if it’s apparently impossible to fit them properly on the wall? Maybe I’m a bit strict. The entire grout pattern tilts to the right. Not just individual tiles, but almost everything. That bothers me.

This is how the tiles look when beautifully installed (catalog photo):

Better to have consistent grout lines than each tile different with varying grout widths. That would really be poor quality.

It's understandable that it bothers you, but not every tradesperson is equally skilled. Unfortunately, you just had some bad luck. Retiling now would be completely disproportionate. But you can always try your luck...

OK. I’ll give it a try, but don’t count on me having too many chances.

With such small tiles, it is probably difficult to keep a straight line?

At least it is visible.
Where exactly do you see something? The right side? And not on the left? I don’t see anything on the left... and these are tile mats, right?
Could it be that the wall on the right side is not straight? A 1-2% deviation is within tolerances.

The entire grout pattern slopes to the right.
Unfortunately, you can’t see a 1-degree slope if the photo was taken with perspective distortion. Also, you can’t zoom in or overlay it with a grid...
You should be able to notice if it’s out of level (if you think it slopes to the right, it should also be visible along the horizontal line).
Personally, I don’t see anything that would warrant a tip.
