hello,
I’m new here and already have a problem:
I bought a washbasin from IKEA but don’t want to use the usual drain valves. Instead, I want to use push-open valves from Hansgrohe.

The problem is that these have a 1 1/4-inch connection to the trap, which doesn’t fit the IKEA drain fitting.
Is there possibly an adapter or something similar, or do you really have to somehow make it work yourself?
Thanks in advance.
Regards from Inder

Hello Inder
*deleted* I found your question here.
Unfortunately, the IKEA siphon is not compatible with the Hansgrohe push-open drain.
The IKEA system is a plug-in type and connected to the overflow,
and I am not aware of any adapter for this. In this case, only the complete IKEA system can be used.
Best regards
Ralf
