Hello,

I bought a large refrigerator that was not cheap. The fridge has an ice maker and an extra water supply. However, the water is not flowing properly from the line, and it is not cooling correctly either. I called the company and asked about it, and they told me to contact a technician, but I have to pay for that myself. I always thought there was a two-year warranty? Or is that no longer the case? Does anyone know? 😕

hi fuchs,

usually, you receive a warranty certificate with almost every technical device. If I were you, I would look for it because it will state how long your refrigerator is under warranty.

Hello fuchs,

Of course, you have a two-year warranty. Check the invoice for your refrigerator, or contact the place where you bought it; they can also assist you.

hi,

what comes to mind is that whenever something covered by a warranty breaks, the whole process becomes incredibly stressful. Sometimes you have to wait for months to get your appliance back... are you really expected to wait two months to get your refrigerator repaired?? I think these warranty certificates are mostly useless! By that time, I would just buy a new appliance anyway.

In Germany at least, it is legally required that the manufacturer provides a minimum 2-year warranty. If defects or damages occur during this period that were not caused intentionally or by improper use, the manufacturer must fix them free of charge or provide an equivalent replacement. However, I am not sure how the regulations are in other countries or when buying something from abroad.

Hello,

I recently bought a similar refrigerator by chance and checked the warranty booklet for my fridge. My warranty is 2 years from the date of purchase, of course. My refrigerator works perfectly, and I always have enough ice cubes available. I hope, dear Fuchs, that your refrigerator will be working soon as well. I’m really happy with mine ;-)

Best regards, rosanne
