ᐅ The actuator remains closed and no longer allows the pin to move upward.

We are slowly but surely becoming frustrated. It was supposed to be a simple replacement of a faulty actuator. So we bought a new actuator, swapped it with the old one, and connected the blue and brown wires. However, as soon as we attach the new actuator, it pushes the pin fully down, blocking the flow. Although the two wires are connected correctly, the actuator does not allow the pin to move back up, and the blue part of the actuator is not visible.

We are now wondering what could be causing this.

Alright, the system is 2 years and 5 months old. The warranty has expired, and there is no goodwill gesture.

Just a suspicion: There are actuators that are "fail-open" and others that are "fail-closed." Since you wrote that it closes, I think you bought an actuator that closes when powered, meaning it is fail-open. Maybe this is where the mistake lies?
